Our maintenance team do a fantastic job looking after our waters but sometimes they require help from our members.
Work party days will be organised throughout the season with participation on a voluntary basis.
These days can be quite fun and are wonderful way to meet other members, maybe you have some tools/equipment or some trade skills that could be useful?
There could be a vast range of activities on the day.
- Grass Cutting
- Swim maintenance
- Litter picking
- Tree removal
- Pathway maintenance
- And many more potential activities
(Not all jobs on the day will be physically strenuous so there will be something for everyone)
Volunteers must wear suitable clothing, including sensible footwear (boots rather than trainers) and provide their own gloves. Arms and legs should be covered. Members safety will always be our top priority.
